COST CONTROL & CLIENT ACCOUNT

As part of a professional service, UKES has the ability to monitor and control the costs relating to a project. Significant investments have been successfully reported using our in-house database tools.  And combining the fiscal information with project schedules, we can provide the client with strategic management information.

  • Forecasted project spend vs. budget
  • Orders placed and overall financial commitment
  • Invoices / stage payments released and cashflow forecasts
  • Earned value & cost to complete, either by work package or overall project
  • Design variation impacts, both before commitment to progress and during execution
  • Foreign Exchange impacts for overseas purchases
  • Reporting in any currency

Client Account facility can be provided as part of our turn-key Project Management Service.  This simplifies all project transactions for the client, into a series of stage payments into a protected reserve, and all activity and invoices for vendors and contractors is operated by UKES.  There are a number of advantages from using this system.

  • Impact on client's accounts team in minimised, as site teams are not geared for the adminstration which is linked to a major project
  • All account activity is "open book" and unique to the client, making auditing of a project straight-forward
  • Invoice and payment queries with contractors are less involved, reducing the risk to project schedules
  • Project cost reporting can be directly reconciled against fiscal accounts
